Getting a dent repair estimate has now become convenient. You can get your estimate at home, at work, and even at the mall, where ever you may be. This only applies to dings, minor dents and large dents. Hail repair is separate from the average dent repair. For example, to come up with an estimate, a paintless dent repair specialist would do an in-shop inspection and factor in the number of dents, sizes, depths, aluminum panels, R&I parts and R&R parts to determine how much a hail damage repair would cost.
Please send multiple images of the dent(s) from different angles via the What’s Up chat, text or email along with the year, mark and model of the vehicle, or you can submit an online estimate and save 10%. When taking images, do not zoom in or out the Lens of the camera; otherwise, the dent will appear bigger or small than it is. Stand approximately 3 to 6 FT away from the damage so that you can capture a fair image. You might have to move your body back and forth to change the distance between you and the dent. Take three images, left, right and straight.
All on- line estimates are preliminary and are subject to change. There Forfore, there might be a 25% to 50% change in cost because of factors, such as body line, aluminum and obstructed damage, which makes the repair challenging.
How do we get the dents out?
Since paintless dent repair does not require bodywork and paint, unlike conventional auto body repair, it must be the case that as long as the paint is not broken, most dents are repairable by paintless dent repair.
There are two major systems of paintless dent repair: rod repair and glue repair; these two systems work independently or can work together.
A highly skilled, trained technician that understands the logic of paintless dent repair, paints, paint textures, vehicle body parts, body panel shapes, different types of metals, and different types of dents can do a good repair.
PDR is environmentally friendly; there is no need for any harsh chemicals during the process.
Our process for mobile paintless dent repair:
In some cases, when performing paintless dent repair, we may remove and then reinstall parts to gain access to the dent in specific areas of the vehicle that are otherwise difficult to reach, for example, taillights, headlights, roof headliners etc.
In the paintless dent repair industry, we use specialized tools to gain access around parts to get to the dented area, such as in a door, between the window and the outer door panel, taillights, water drain holes, fender liners, headliners, headlights, etc. so that repairing the dent back to its pre-dent condition is possible.
Alternative methods of dent removal in Toronto:
We avoid the use of suction cups on all of our dent repairs; depending on the type of damage, we may use an alternative method called Glue Pull Repair; this method uses specialized glue tabs and glue sticks; glue tabs and glue ticks come in different shapes, sizes and colours. Tabs come in many sharps and sizes, such as small, medium, large, and extra-large. Glue sticks come in many colours, for example, red, green, black, brown and yellow. Glue pulling is more time-consuming because of the repetitive nature to keep adjusting the size of the tabs after every pull and tapping down on the metal to get it back to its original condition. Glue pulling can be done on any vehicle panel, but it is mainly done where it is impossible to use a bar, for example, roof rails.
PDR is insurance approved.
PDR is the preferred method of repairing hail-damaged vehicles, door dings, minor dents and large dents. Many major insurance companies across Canada use PDR, such as TD Insurance, Aviva, Cooperators, Alstate and Intact.
Most dents are repairable using Magic Dent Repair Ltd Toronto dent removal service.
We can repair almost any dents. Body line dents are known to be some of the hardest dents to repair, but our experience and success with body line dents have made us well-known in the industry; as long as the paint surface remains intact, our trained technician has the ability and tools to do the job.
We repair any damage: door dings, minor dents, larger dents, crease dents and complex dents.
When working on body-line damage, we used heat to avoid any fracture of the paint; due to the paint’s brittleness, when under too much pressure and stress, if not heated, the paint can break, split or crack when working on the damage to bring it back out to its pre-damage condition; paint is like plastic, and plastic can break under too much pressure if not under the right temperature.
