Paintless dent repair in Toronto extends to all makes and models of vehicles and offers a Lifetime Guarantee on all of our repairs.
How do we get the dents out?
Paintless dent repair is metalworking that does not require the need for bodywork nor paint. Unlike conventional auto body repair, As long as the paint is not broken, most dents can be repaired.
There are two major systems of paintless dent repair: rod repair and glue repair. These two systems work independently or can work in conjunction with each other.
A highly skilled professional technician with a trained understanding of paint, paint textures, vehicle body parts, body panel shapes, different types of metals, and different types of dents can generate a sound repair.
PDR is environmentally friendly. There is no need for any harsh chemicals during the process.
Our process for mobile paint-less dent repair
We may remove and reinstall parts to gain access to damage on certain areas of the vehicle that are otherwise difficult to reach.
We use specialized tools to gain access behind a damaged area, such as between windows and outer door panels, taillights, water drain holes, fender liners, headliners, headlights, and more. The damage works back out to its pre-dent condition.
Alternative methods of dent removal in Toronto
We avoid the use of suction cups for all of our dent repairs. Depending on the type of damage, we may use an alternative method called Glue Pull Repair. This method uses specialized glue tabs and glue sticks. Glue tabs and glue ticks come in all different shapes, sizes and colours: small, medium, large extra-large, red, green, black, brown and yellow. Glue pulling is more time-consuming because of the repetitive nature to keep adjusting the size of the tabs after every pull and tapping down on the metal to get it back to its original condition. Glue pulling can be done on any panel of a vehicle, but it is mostly done where it is impossible to use a rod.
PDR is covered by insurance
Paintless dent repair is covered by insurance companies. PDR is the preferred method of repairing hail damaged vehicles, door dings, minor dents and large dents. Major insurance companies across Canada use Paintless dent repair.
What types of damage can be repaired using a Toronto dent removal service?
We can repair almost any dents. Body line dents are known to be some of the hardest dents to be repaired, but our experience and success with body line dents have made us well known in the industry. As long as the paint surface remains intact, our Technician has the ability and tools to get the job done.
We repair any type of damage: door dings, minor dents, larger dents, crease dent and complex dents.
When working on body-line damage, heat is used to avoid any fracture of the paint. Due to the paints’ brittleness, when under to much pressure and stress, if not heated, the paint can break, split or crack when working the damage back out to its pre-damage condition. Paint is plastic and plastic can break under too much pressure if not under the right temperature.
