Toronto is not well known for its hailstorms as the Midwest, but every year we experience our fair share. If your vehicle has been in any type of hailstorm, you need PDR hail damage repair services.
PDR for hail repair is the most affordable, quickest and most convenient way for repairing dents caused by hail stones. Don’t replace any parts until you have received an estimate. You could be saving yourself thousands by calling today!

What are the benefits of paintless dent repair for hail damage?
- Save thousands of dollars in hail damage repair with PDR than with conventional body shop repair.
- You can sell your car for much more money when there are zero dents!
- Maintain the original paint of your vehicle. No new parts mean your vehicle will return to the EXACT conditions it was in previously.
- Save time in repair! One dent can be reversed in 15 minutes (hail damage repair time can take one or three days depending on the number of dents on your vehicle, which is STILL less time than replacing parts at a body shop!)
- PDR is environmentally friendly! There are no toxic chemicals, body fillers, paint or paint thinners. Sometimes, we don’t need car parts since we are only reversing the dents.

How does PDR work to repair hail damage?
Paintless dent repair technicians can reverse a dent in one of three ways:
- Push the dent out by getting access behind the dent.
- Pull the dent out with a Glue Puller.
- Pull the Dent out with a suction cup.
Most technicians prefer the first method because it allows for greater control over the area that’s affected. Pulling techniques are not nearly as accurate and precise.
PDR works well for hail repair because most hail pellets don’t leave scratches. Even the largest hail stones will only leave a big dent in your car (or a broken window). If the paint hasn’t been scratched off, there’s a good chance you can have your dent reversed using PDR.
Repair process for hail damage:
#1. Wash & Estimate:
The paintless dent repair process starts with your technician assessing the damage that have been left on your vehicle. You will receive an estimate on how much your hail damage repair will cost. The work is then performed to reverse the dent which includes pushing, pulling, twisting and tapping repetitively.
A wash prepares the vehicle estimation. Hail repair is separate from minor dents. To come up with an estimate, a paintless dent repair specialist would do an in-shop inspection and factor in the number of dents, size, depth, R&I and R&R to determine how much a hail damage repair would cost.
#2. Setting up:
Setting up the work area includes R&I tools to remove parts, for example, hood and liner, deck- lid and liner and headliner and sunroof etc. PDR light system to highlight all the dents and a specialized set of metal picks and carbon fibre rods to bring the dings, and glue pull tools for working on the rails where there is no access to bring the dent out that hail damage caused. Every panel on the vehicle will require a unique set of pdr skills.
#3. Reverse the hail dents:
In some cases, a heat gun is used to heat the area and loosen the metal to make it easier to manipulate. When pushing or pulling the dents out, a combination of tools and techniques are used to get the vehicle back to pre-hail damage condition. For example, metal picks, metal rods and carbon fibre rods. A glue gun, glue sticks and glue tabs. Hammers, punches and tips. This process is performed by slowly working the dents out using pushing, pulling, twisting and tapping repetitively.
#4. Final touch-ups:
The final stage of PDR is making sure that the affected panels are completed, and, if any, all damaged parts are changed, and R&I parts are assembled, vehicle scanned and washed pick-up.
