Magic Dent Repair’s base price is among the lowest in the industry for multiple dings and large, complex dents. The pricing can increase with factors such as whether the dent is on the bodyline, aluminum panel, double panel (roof rails), obstructed damage and brace, etc. You can use our PDR dent estimator to get retail pricing on any dent.
An example of how the system works is attached below.
- We will walk the lot, take pictures of the dents on each unit, along with vehicle ID and cost, and will send them to you by email for approval. The dents will be circled.
- Once you have received the email, press “open estimate.”
- You will see a list of cars with images of the dents we find. You decide on the units that need to be done by pressing “Approve for work” or “Don’t work on this vehicle”
- We get a copy of your approved selections on our end and we contact you for scheduling.
Once jobs are done, invoices will be generated with all the required information and sent to you by email.
Minor Dents/ Dings:
Minor dents or dings are dime, quarter and loonie. They can occur from any moving object, but most commonly, they occur when another vehicle’s door swings open on the body of the other vehicle, which causes a ding on the body.
Crease/ Line Dents:
Crease dents look like lines on a panel. They accord in all different shapes, sizes and lengths. They appear when an object, usually with a sharp or rounded edge, grazes alongside the face of the panel.
Large/ Complex Dents:
A severe impact causes large or complex dents to a vehicle, which is more significant than minor dents or dings. If the paint is still intact, PDR is recommended. The damage will require conventional repair if the paint is scraped, cracked, or broken.
Hail Repair:
Hail repair is separate from minor dents, creases and large dents. To come up with an estimate, a paintless dent repair specialist would do an in-shop inspection and factor in the number of dents, size, depth, R&I parts and R&R parts to determine how much a hail damage repair would cost.
